David Millar
David Millar is a career intelligence professional and scholar specializing in political dynamics and security issues in East Asia. His research focuses on strategic culture, political psychology and decision-making, and he has contributed to several studies on U.S.-China relations as well as a book-length project on U.S. counter-terrorism doctrine. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Senior Intelligence Analyst for Northeast Asia at the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) in Honolulu, Hawaii and from 2005 to 2010, as a political analyst advising the Executive Branch. David teaches graduate-level courses in East Asian Security and holds an M.A. in International Policy and Nonproliferation.
