Anna Gussarova
Anna Gussarova is the Director of the Central Asia Institute for Strategic Studies and currently a Visiting Fellow at the Elliott School of International Affairs, The George Washington University. Her research focuses on language and communication strategy in countering violent extremism in Kazakhstan. Previously, she served as a senior research fellow at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for five years, covering transnational and cyber security, violent extremism and deradicalization issues.
